The Studio is an on-demand monthly performance hub designed to support young actors as they develop monologues, build audition skills, and practise independently with clarity and confidence.
Each month offers a clear focus, fresh material, and professional insight to help performers stay active and engaged all year round.
Inside The Studio, members have access to curated monologues and scenes, short professional guidance videos, model performances, and monthly interviews with working actors and drama school students.
Practical challenges and an expanding resource library support regular practice, while the Greenroom provides a supportive online space to reflect and connect with other young actors in the same age group.
The Studio is flexible, low-pressure, and designed to fit around school and life — supporting preparation for auditions and National Youth Monologues without requiring constant participation.

The National Youth Monologues Summer School is a week-long programme of inspiring theatre training in London, created exclusively for students entering the National Youth Monologues competition.
Open to KS2–3 and KS4–5 students, the Summer School offers high-quality, age-appropriate training led by experienced theatre practitioners in a supportive and professional environment.
Students can take part through two pathways:
- Open Studio – a week of practical training open to all competition entrants
- Scholars Programme – a selective, invitation-only pathway for students recognised for outstanding performance in the competition.
Running alongside the competition, the Summer School provides an exciting opportunity to develop performance skills, build confidence, and connect with other young performers from across the UK.
