Thanks you all for entering - the quality of performances was exceptionally high!
Entrants may have been selected for the Regional Finals, placed on our Reserve List, made the Regional Shortlist of had their work Commended by our judges.
Further details, including ticket sales will be announced soon!
Regional Finalists:
This means that you are invited to perform live at either the North or South Regional Final with the winners of these going on to the National Final in June.
You will perform the same monologue as you did in your self-tape.
Reserve List:
The Reserve List recognises a small number of performances that were extremely close to being selected for the Regional Finals. Chosen from a highly competitive field of these performers demonstrated an exceptional standard of work and are next in line to perform, should a finalist place become available. This also means that their work made the Regional Shortlist.
Regional Shortlist:
The Regional Shortlist recognises a selection of outstanding performances from this year’s competition, placing them among the top performers in their region and the top 10-15% of all entrants.
Those selected for the Regional Shortlist will be invited to attend the National Final for a presentation and celebration of their achievement, recognising their outstanding work as part of this year’s competition.
Commended:
The Commended category recognises performances that we felt we wanted to recognise, despite not making the Regional Shortlist. These speeches stood out to our judges, and are selected from a highly competitive field. This means that their work was in the top 15-25% of all entries.
Those whose work was Commended will be invited to attend the Regional Final for a presentation and celebration of their achievement, recognising their outstanding work as part of this year’s competition.
