The International Youth Monologues extends the National Youth Monologues beyond the UK, giving young performers from around the world the opportunity to take part in a truly global celebration of solo performance.
Open to actors aged 9–19, the International strand invites participants to perform a monologue in one or more of four categories — Contemporary, Classical, Screen, and Devised — across four age groups, just like the UK competition.
Whether entering through an international school, youth theatre, drama programme, or independently, young performers can share their work with a panel of expert industry judges and be part of a growing international community of emerging talent.
Finalists are selected to take part in the International Final, a specially curated online showcase of outstanding performances, bringing together young actors from across the world. This event celebrates creativity, confidence, and the power of solo performance on a global stage.
