National Youth Monologues is a UK-wide competition for young performers, created to celebrate, support and champion the next generation of acting talent.

We believe in the power of performance to build confidence, spark creativity and open doors. Our mission is to provide a national platform where young people can share their voices, be recognised and take the next step in their journey.

We want National Youth Monologues to be recognised as the leading platform for young acting talent in the UK and beyond - creating opportunities, building communities and nurturing the next generation of performers.
In just two years, National Youth Monologues has grown into a nationwide celebration of young acting talent, connecting performers, schools and youth theatres from across the UK.

Macy, Hazel and Amé are valued members of the National Youth Monologues team, having supported both National Finals, our regional finals and the NYM Summer School. Having previously worked with Marcus and Martin, they have continued to contribute to NYM while pursuing their own training and education at university and drama school.
Their roles span workshop facilitation, performer liaison and live event coordination, helping to ensure that every participant feels welcomed, supported and confident throughout their NYM experience. From leading creative sessions at Summer School to coordinating performers backstage and supporting the smooth running of our live finals, they bring enthusiasm, creativity and a genuine understanding of the young people at the heart of NYM.

We're proud to work with leading organisations across the industry who share our belief in the power of young people and the importance of performance.
