The Methuen Drama School & Group Prize recognises schools and youth organisations whose students demonstrate outstanding acting talent across the National Youth Monologues competition.


  • Regional recognition, with certificates and trophies
  • National winner receives the School & Group Trophy
  • £250 worth of Methuen Drama books
  • Invitation to the Regional and National Finals and additional recognition. 


EVERY PERFORMANCE COUNTS.
Students entering independently can also contribute towards their school's recognition when they identify their school or group on their entry.Regional recognition, with certificates and trophies

PROFESSIONAL WORKSHOPS. CONFIDENT PERFORMERS.

Take preparation a step further with a professional monologue workshop. Our sessions help students develop their acting technique, explore character and prepare confident competition performances, followed by a dedicated filming session to record their entries.


- Single, multiple and full-day residency options.

- Workshop and filming session (90 minutes each)

- Includes competition entry for each participant (groups of 15-20 students)

- Optional Q&A session (full-day residency)
