Our School & Group Passes are designed to make entry more affordable and administration easier for busy teachers.
School & Group Passes save up to 40% per entry and remove the need for individual uploads, payments, and admin. It's perfect for drama departments, youth theatres, trusts, and MATs.
How it works:
Just fill out the School and Group Pass application form – we’ll send you an invoice and a link to upload your monologues and forms.
Discounted Rates:
If you’re entering between bands or working with a specific budget, get in touch, and we’ll create a tailored pass for your school or group.
Free School Meals:
Students on Free School Meals are eligible for free entry through a School and Group Pass, and can be added to the number of entries on your Pass without additional cost.

The Methuen Drama School & Group Prize is awarded to the National Winning school or group, recognising the overall standard and quality of monologues submitted by their students.
The winning school or group will receive the National Trophy, £250 worth of Methuen Drama books, invitations to the National Final, and more.
Methuen Drama, an imprint of Bloomsbury Publishing, has been publishing plays and books on acting, theatre and practice for over 100 years. They are home to 8 Nobel Prize winners and cutting-edge critical studies, research and practical guides, as well as Drama Online, Bloomsbury Publishing’s award-winning Digital Library.

Schools, youth theatres, and drama groups may receive Regional Commendations or Regional Winner awards, recognised with certificates and trophies, in celebration of the overall quality of entries submitted by their students.
Note: Students entering independently will still be asked to name their school or group on the entry form, so their work can count toward a potential School & Group Prize.

We offer a 90-minute professional workshop, designed for groups of 15–20 students, focused on developing monologue technique.
This is followed by a 90-minute filming session, giving students the opportunity to record their competition entries directly with us, removing the need for individual self-taping and uploads.
Pricing:
All workshop prices include competition entry for each student
(saving up to £160 per group).
(Travel is charged at cost and agreed in advance).
Schools and groups can book more than one workshop on the same day. Additional workshops are offered at a reduced rate to reflect shared travel and setup time. Each workshop is delivered to a separate group of up to 20 students.
Full-day residencies also include an optional Q&A session, offering students insight into monologue preparation, performance on camera, and the competition process.
Schools that use a School & Group Pass or enter a qualifying number of students will receive an official School & Group Accreditation Stamp.
This can be used on websites, promotional materials, and newsletters to showcase your school or group's involvement in and support for the National Youth Monologues.
